Mark Woodall

Directeur général des investissements

Mark dirige toutes les activités de mobilisation de capitaux et d'investissement pour CQC. En tant qu'entrepreneur, investisseur, conseiller et membre du conseil d'administration, Mark est un leader dans le développement et le financement des énergies renouvelables, du carbone et des technologies propres depuis plus de 25 ans. Il a fondé et dirigé deux sociétés bancaires d'investissement spécialisées dans l'économie à faible émission de carbone : Impax Capital (1994) et Climate Change Capital (2002), où il a levé le plus grand fonds carbone du secteur privé au monde (plus d'un milliard de dollars) en 2005 et a présidé le comité d'investissement. Il a été conseiller, investisseur ou principal dans une centaine de transactions liées aux technologies propres, avec un capital total déployé de plus de 5 milliards de dollars US. Mark a également été membre non exécutif du conseil d'administration d'une douzaine d'entreprises et a été membre d'une demi-douzaine de comités d'investissement pour des fonds d'infrastructure et de technologie d'énergie propre.

Guy Mansfield

Directeur financier

Guy a 25 ans d'expérience en tant que directeur financier et cadre financier dans le secteur de l'énergie. Il a acquis une grande expérience de l'intégration post-acquisition en dirigeant des équipes financières dans différents pays et cultures, et en proposant des solutions organisationnelles transversales dans des environnements à haut risque, complexes et multidisciplinaires. Il est un conseiller expert des conseils d'administration et des équipes de direction et est actuellement le directeur financier de la division commerciale d'une grande société énergétique, qui compte environ 600 employés et génère un revenu net d'environ 1 milliard de dollars.

Chen Yang

Directeur commercial

Chen supervise les activités de vente et de marketing en aval de CQC, ainsi que le développement stratégique et commercial avec les partenaires et les distributeurs. Chen a une décennie d'expérience dans les secteurs de la technologie et de l'agriculture, dans des rôles de stratégie, d'expansion internationale et de développement commercial. Avant de rejoindre le CQC, elle a dirigé les activités liées à la demande pour Indigo Carbon, une entreprise leader dans le domaine du carbone dans les sols agricoles basée aux États-Unis. M. Chen est titulaire d'un diplôme de l'université de Melbourne et d'un MBA de la Kellogg School of Management de l'université Northwestern.

Jules Kortenhorst

Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director

Jules Kortenhorst serves as the CEO of C-Quest Capital. Prior to assuming this role, Jules was a partner at Vision Ridge Partners, a sustainable real assets investor capitalizing on the global transition to sustainability. Beginning his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co, Jules spent nearly a decade in various roles, including Managing Director for Royal Dutch/Shell/Shell Bulgaria. He also served as a member of the Dutch parliament for the Christian Democratic Party. Jules's credentials include leadership roles as CEO at several organizations dedicated to addressing climate change, including RMI (formerly Rocky Mountain Institute), a leading climate change NGO, the European Climate Foundation (which he founded), the largest philanthropic organization dedicated to climate change in Europe, and the International Operations of ClientLogic Corporation, a global leader in outsourced customer relationship management. Notably, Jules has chaired the WEF Global Future Councils for Energy and for Net Zero. He is a founding member of the global Energy Transitions Commission, chairman of ENSTALL Solar Group, and a board member of Circle Economy, an NGO supporting the circularity movement. Jules holds a master’s in economics from Erasmus University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Julian Parkin

Chief Transformation Officer

Julian started his career as a Chartered Accountant at PwC having a diverse career involving finance and risk consulting assignments. He then spent 17 years in financial services, transitioning from risk leadership positions to managing portfolios of regulatory and operational transformation and change. Most recently Julian has been guiding fast-growth organizations implementing transformation programs across operations, risk, data, and governance in multiple sectors. With a degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter and certifications in sustainability, program management and privacy, Julian is also actively involved as the Head of Finance at the InterClimate Network, a charity dedicated to inspiring the next generation of climate leaders.

Jolie Norris

General Counsel

Jolie joined C-Quest Capital in January 2024 and serves as the General Counsel for the company, responsible for the firm’s legal and compliance functions globally. She is an experienced commercial lawyer having operated in the global energy and commodities markets for many years. Jolie has covered a wide variety of legal matters relating to global commodity markets, including physical commodity trading; financial commodity derivatives; sustainability; compliance and regulatory matters; acquisitions and disposals of energy and commodity assets; energy and commodity finance; structured transactions; and supply, storage and offtake transactions. With over two decades of experience, Jolie has successfully established herself as a trusted advisor and a strategic partner to several business teams. She has spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs, including nearly 10 years as a Managing Director and Head of the Global Commodities legal team. Jolie holds a dual degree BEc/LLB (HONS) from the University of Western Australia.

Matt Siller

Brent Moser

Directeur des opérations, région Afrique

Brent supervise les opérations sur le terrain et les relations avec les partenaires pour l'Afrique subsaharienne. Il a onze ans d'expérience dans les secteurs de l'ingénierie et de l'énergie. Il a été agent de vulgarisation en matière de sécurité alimentaire et d'environnement au sein de Peace Corps Zambie, où il s'est concentré sur la réduction de la déforestation, l'insécurité alimentaire et l'atténuation de la vulnérabilité au changement climatique. Brent est titulaire d'une licence en génie civil de l'université de Floride.

Margot Clarvis, PhD

Responsable des solutions basées sur la nature

Margot Clarvis dirige le développement et la gestion des programmes du CQC sur les solutions fondées sur la nature. Margot a plus de 15 ans d'expérience dans la recherche, le développement de partenariats et la gestion de programmes à l'intersection de l'adaptation au climat, de la résilience, de la conservation de la nature et de la finance. Avant de rejoindre le CQC, elle a été directrice des programmes chez Earth Security, un conseiller spécialisé dans les actifs naturels auprès d'investisseurs, d'entreprises et de gouvernements, où elle a dirigé des engagements clients et des projets sur l'engagement du secteur privé et le développement de partenariats sur les ODD et les solutions basées sur la nature dans la Corne de l'Afrique, en Inde, en Indonésie et aux Philippines. Elle a également travaillé avec le PNUE - Finance Initiative et le fournisseur d'informations ESG Asset 4 (maintenant Refinitiv). En tant que consultante indépendante, elle a travaillé avec des ONG et des institutions financières afin de développer des programmes et des produits pour des solutions basées sur la nature et la résilience climatique, notamment l'Organisation internationale pour les migrations, la Clean Cooking Alliance, Conservation International, AXA Climate, le WWF et l'UICN. Elle est titulaire d'un doctorat en politique environnementale de l'université de Genève, d'un master en technologie environnementale de l'Imperial College de Londres et d'une licence en lettres classiques de l'université de Cambridge.

Geoff Grimm

Chef des technologies de l'information

Geoffrey Grimm gère les systèmes informatiques du CQC, notamment les systèmes de gestion des données. Geoff est un professionnel de l'informatique avec huit ans d'expérience dans les systèmes de données, l'analyse et l'infrastructure. Chez Booz Allen Hamilton, il a dirigé une équipe de scientifiques, d'ingénieurs et de développeurs de données sur une plateforme d'analyse et de données du ministère de la Défense, ADVANA, qui fournit et maintient des solutions d'application pour les dirigeants du ministère de la Défense afin de suivre les informations en temps réel en intégrant plus de 20 systèmes de données du ministère de la Défense sur une plateforme en nuage sécurisée. Geoffrey est titulaire d'une maîtrise de l'université de Chicago, où il a étudié la politique publique et les statistiques, et d'une licence de l'université Illinois Wesleyan.

Alice Ferretti

Chef du personnel et de la culture

Alice dirige la stratégie et les opérations des ressources humaines au CQC. Alice dirige une équipe mondiale de professionnels des RH qui soutient les équipes du CQC sur le terrain et dans les bureaux. Avec une formation en psychologie clinique et une maîtrise en gestion des ressources humaines, Alice joue un rôle clé dans la promotion d'un environnement de travail sain et engageant qui distingue le CQC des autres employeurs. Elle a quitté l'Italie pour s'installer à Washington DC afin de terminer ses études en ressources humaines à l'université de Georgetown. Avant de rejoindre le CQC, Alice a dirigé les opérations de ressources humaines de start-up et d'organisations à but non lucratif dans la région de Washington.

Ryan Andre

Avocat général adjoint

Avant de rejoindre CQC en tant qu'avocat général adjoint, Ryan était avocat associé dans un cabinet d'avocats de Washington, D.C. spécialisé dans les marchés de l'environnement, les énergies renouvelables, le recyclage avancé et les technologies propres, où il conseillait sur les aspects réglementaires et commerciaux du développement de projets internationaux et américains. Il a obtenu un master en politique environnementale à l'université de Cambridge et un J.D. magna cum laude à la Vermont Law School.

Letitia Adu-Ampoma

Head of Compliance

Letitia joined C-Quest Capital in February 2024 as Head of Compliance, and she is responsible for CQC’s Global Compliance Programme. She has over 12 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring ethics and compliance programmes for multinational company operations across Sub-Saharan Africa and other emerging markets in Asia. Additionally, she has developed and directed company market strategies in areas of integrity, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability while managing complex private and public sector relationships. Having worked across varied industries including fintech, financial services, mobile telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and technology, and with companies such as Millicom (Tigo), GSK, Sandoz/Novartis, and Meta, Letitia brings international best-practice approaches to ethics and compliance. Letitia is a graduate of Oxford University, UK (PPE, M.A.Hons). Additionally, she is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP – I), a Certified Lead Implementer of ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management Systems), and a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Nidhi Maurya

Head of Carbon and Sustainability Team (CSAT)

Nidhi has over 16 years of experience in the consulting and development sectors, specializing in policy, reforms, regulatory oversight, program management, performance improvement, digitalization, modernization, RE integration, and energy transition. Her clients include governments, public and private utilities, unilateral and multilateral donor agencies, C&I consumers, etc., in India and the South Asian region. Formerly Vice President at Accenture in its Indian Practice, Nidhi led initiatives in the energy sector, focusing on strategy, consulting, renewable integration, decarbonization, DER mapping, visualization, DSM response measurement, smart metering, and promotion of digital interventions through policy and regulatory measures. Before Accenture, she headed the Energy Utilities practice at Research Triangle Institute (RTI) in India, managing large projects with a P&L exceeding USD 50 million. With 8 years at PwC India and 3 at TERI, Nidhi excelled in client and program management, business development, and revenue management. She played a key role in building and managing high-performing teams in the energy sector, overseeing training, capacity building, and growth of internal and external stakeholders. Nidhi, holds a master’s degree in business economics and a bachelor's in commerce from Delhi University, is also a published author with works like "Pricing of Urban Water Supply, Environment and Urbanization – Asia" for SAGE Journal & Publications.

Antonia Peart

Head of Investment

Antonia has a decade of experience working in project development focused on renewable energy and low carbon technology solutions. Before joining CQC, she was the Commercial and Legal Director for a large Australian renewable energy developer, focused on capital raising activities for renewable energy projects including utility scale solar and long duration storage projects. Antonia has extensive M&A and project finance transactional experience, starting her career as a lawyer in the Global Energy and Infrastructure team at Linklaters in London and Allens in Sydney, before moving into project development and investment. She has a BA from King's College, London and an LLB from the College of Law.

Daelus Lu

Head of Government Affairs/A6, Asia

With more than 11 years in account management and business development, Daelus leads CQC's engagements with governments around the world. He is also responsible for deepening relationships with corporates keen to invest in carbon projects or offtake carbon offsets. Before CQC, Daelus served as the Assistant Vice President for Singapore Economic Development Board, where he was instrumental in uncovering opportunities and securing foreign direct investments worth more than SGD$2.5B. He also spent four years based in Tokyo as the Regional Director engaging Fortune 500 Japanese companies in the Energy & Chemicals, Renewables, Agri-food, Equipment & Machinery industries. Finally, Daelus worked two years in Barclays Investment Bank following his graduation from the National University of Singapore. He holds a BBA (Honours), with specialization in Finance, and currently resides in Singapore.

Bhaskar Jyoti Nath

Head of Operations, Southeast Asia

With over 15 years of experience in program management and implementation within the fields of Clean Energy and Climate Change, Bhaskar expertly manages the implementation of CQC's community-based projects in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining CQC, Bhaskar served as an Associate Director at PwC India, where he led multiple energy and climate change mitigation related programs for a variety of bilateral and multilateral organizations, such as the EU, UNEP, UNDP, UNIDO, UNHABITAT, World Bank, and GiZ, among others, as well as government agencies in more than 18 countries. Bhaskar began his career in carbon financing, where he played a pivotal role in enabling over 50 private sector engagements to receive carbon finance. He holds an MBA degree from Management Development Institute, India, and an M.Tech from Tezpur University, India.

James Gillespie

Head of Marketing and Communications

James is a highly accomplished Marketing and Brand Strategy professional with 15 years of experience leading the strategic planning and execution of large-scale integrated marketing campaigns. James has made a significant impact on brands across diverse industry sectors, including global brands Apple and Samsung. Equipped with an MBA from the University of Sydney, with a specialised focus on social enterprise and leadership, James brings a unique blend of business acumen and a passion for creating positive social impact.
